Below are some of the Frequently asked questions that our team receives. If the answer to your question is not below please don’t hesitate to contact us for assistance.

Our turnaround time is 4-5 business days. We do offer expedited 2-3 business days and expedited next day for an additional cost. Our team understands the importance of receiving an estimate as fast as possible. 

Expedited estimates are available for an additional fee. Emerald Estimates offers two expedited options; 2-3 business days and next day. 

Once a project is created you will be prompted to enter credit card information. We will place a hold on the card on file and will charge card upon estimate completion and before delivery. Estimates will not be released until payment is received.
Yes, if you have these reports they will help our team complete a more accurate estimate. If you do not have these reports and do not have measurements for your project. Your estimator can process the order for you. The cost of this report will be added to your final invoice.
Yes, simply send us the estimate that you would like us to supplement and indicate what items need to be supplemented. Our team will also review the estimate that needs a supplement to verify there is no additional items that were overlooked by the initial estimator and by you.
You will receive an email with a PDF and/or an ESX file. If you created an account these will also be available in your client portal.
Of course, if you have an ESX file we would encourage you to submit that to us. Many of our clients send us their ESX file with photos and a description of damages.
Yes, Xactimate prices are based on the market in your geographical area. Xactimate updates their price lists monthly to account for any variations in the market.
Interior measurements are required. We will work with anything you provide; handwritten measurements and/or floor plans, Matterport reports, Xactimate sketches etc. Roof and Exterior measurements are only required if satellite images cannot be obtained or if you do not want to order the satellite images. We generally use eagle view, hover, or rooftop. If you choose not to submit measurements we will order the roof or wall report and invoice for the cost upon project completion.

If you need assistance with ordering Hover please let us know in our intake form as Hover requires photos on site and you will likely need to revisit the property.
